Ring our reception to book an appointment.

Specialist Nurse Practitioners based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. You can expect to see them within two working days. You can see the Nurse Practitioner for the following problems-

-Coil Removal

-Tonsilitis/Sore Throats

-UTI's

-Contraception (Initiation & change)

-Emergency Contraception

-Female Problems

-Skin Infections/Rashes (including Eczema, Psoriasis etc)

-Earache

-Hayfever

-Thyroid Problems

We also have a Practice Nurse that you can see for the following problems

-Asthma reviews 

-Diabetic reviews

-COPD

-Hypertension BP checks

-CHD

-CVA/Stroke

-Smears

-Swabs

-Coil Checks

-Pill repeats

-Injections (Depo, B12, Zoladex Implants, Prostap, Testosterone)

-Travel Vaccinations

-Baby/Child Immunisations

-Ear Checks/Syringing

-Wound checks/dressings & Removal of sutures

  • Urgent cases are seen on the day, and may be triaged by either the Specialist Nurse Practitioner or GP.
  • If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP. If you don't need an appointment within two working days, you also have the option to book in advance if this is more convenient for you.

  • Say immediately if your call is an emergency.
  • Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen. We can give you a longer appointment if necessary.
  • Tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss any matters. Remember that the results of tests can only be given to the patient.
  • You can book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor. He or she will ring you at an agreed time on the telephone number you have given
  • You can go online to ask questions, Report symptoms and upload photos. For more information contact reception.

Enhanced Access

We have access to these appointments for Patients on a Saturday located at Kingsbridge & Madeley. These are bookable through Keele Reception.

Extended Access

These are various appointments throughout the week located at Bradwell & Basford for patients these are bookable via Keele Reception.

Extended Access Sites

You can help us by:

  • Being on time for your appointment
  • Letting us know if you need to cancel
  • Calling for a home visit or urgent appointment before 10am
  • Ringing for test results after 2.00pm

If you cannot attend your appointment, please ring and cancel as soon as possible to enable us to offer the appointment to another patient

GP Services offers patients registered with our practice a full GP service when our practice is closed. For urgent advice and treatment, telephone 111.

Thursday Afternoons

The practice's phone lines are covered by our colleagues from North Staffordshire GP Federation on THURSDAY AFTERNOONS. If you need anything between 1pm and 6:30 pm on a THURSDAY (only these times and only on a Thursday) then please ring 01782 651651. At all other times, please ring the practice as normal or 111 when the practice is closed. Many thanks.
